WLPS Passes Common Core

Just over a month since failing to pass a 12 million dollar bond that was needed to shore up a failing budget, Whitmore Lake Schools passed Common Core last night at a session of the Whitmore Lake Board of Education. On a four to two vote the board passed and accepted the new standard for curriculum and education that most conservatives consider a progressive liberal doctrine of interference in local school control.
